Mike has over 30 years of commercial healthcare experience in strategic planning, marketing, sales management and business development; gained in hospitals, corporate health services, pharmaceuticals and charities.

Mike’s successful career includes employment in a major pharmaceutical company - Merck Sharp and Dohme, AMI Healthcare (now BMI Healthcare) and more recently the Cromwell Hospital – a leading London private hospital where Mike was Director of Marketing and a member of the Hospital’s Executive Committee.

In 2005, Mike decided to use his experience to assist other hospitals and healthcare organisations to meet the considerable challenges of operating more cost effectively and devising the right strategy for profitable growth. To do this, he left full time employment and set up Ovigal Ltd, a specialist healthcare business consultancy.

Our mission is: ‘to help healthcare organisations generate revenue, enhance service quality and increase profitability.’

Ovigal offers services on a consultancy or interim basis. Mike is ‘outcome orientated’ and very focused on ‘customer service excellence’.  He is equally happy to provide strategic guidance or be very ‘hands on’, working either within in a team or independently.
